separation of church and state? not at RCPC-- today i walkied into the "teacher's lounge" and noticed hanging on the wall, a cross on rosary beads. My supervisor looked more annoyed with my firm request for him to remove it than with the presence of the rosaries.

what is a friend?

I thought it was a lifetime committment of supporting each other and wanting to see each other and actually seeing each other no matter how far. When there's a will, there should be a way. Other women keep friends, but mine fade away and even stop returning calls or e-mails. I wish i had more meaningful ties other than just with my husband.

two successful young adult children- good looking, keen sense of humor, brilliant son, very intelligent daughter, warm, personable and successful in their professions- forget grandchildren, marriages, or even engagements, but an occasional date??? What's wrong here?? Where are their soul mates?
